So I just want to apologize for being so quiet and sort of checking out of life for a while. As my last journal highlighted, my ESA pup Suka was not doing well. (Journal below if you want to see some cute pics of her)  Well I ended up losing her a few days after that journal due to having to make the hard decision to put her down.  They found an active metastatic adrenal carcinoma on her kidney.  Unfortunately, being that it was active, it was pretty much a guarantee that it had spread.  She was already hemorrhaging in her brain and her lungs were starting to collapse.  While she was only 7 years old, it was her time and we surrounded her wi

So I don't know what to do at the moment. My pupper Suka just lost almost all feeling in her back legs today and she went from walking this morning to not being able to get up.... She's at the emergency vet right now and we are waiting to see if it is something that can be fixed. Not getting up due to nerve issues is never a good sign.... Feels like I got beat the fuck up since she is my baby. She is not only family but she is our registered ESA (emotional support animal) and it is really hard to think of what a day would be like without her. Our vet is giving her one last hail mary and is putting her on Prednisone, doing PT, acupunctur
